Description
This is a scene just a mile or so from my house. We pass it nearly every day & I always find myself looking towards the pasture at these wooly creatures.

Beautiful, beautiful painting! Excellently executed, dear Marsha! This one has my vote too and went in my Favorites, like the others....:)
Marsha Elliott replied:
Ah, thank you so much, Elizabeta.....I love painting these neighbors of ours from down the road. Guess you can tell I live in the country!

I love the fence in the composition! Excellent work!
Marsha Elliott replied:
I had to squat down to get the photo reference so the fence would frame the sheep like it does, then I had a hard time getting up! ha! It was worth it, though, because I feel the fence is what makes it. Thanks for your comment.

marsha, I don't know what's up with my activity thing today...I missed this, so glad I am taking time tonight to go through today's new art. I love this one. Value shifts are awesome and I love the perspective. Lovely, as always!

IMore lovely lambs Marsha. We seldom see sheep with the black legs here in NZ I like your shadows which show the sheep more strongly. Clever....
Marsha Elliott replied:
The black faced ones are all over the place here and once in awhile, we see a fully black one but not very often. Thanks for your nie comment.
